What Roastly is

Roastly produces AI-generated critiques of public web pages. The tone is deliberately blunt and humorous. A roast is an automated, opinionated review of one page load at one moment in time. It is not a statement of fact about a business, the people behind it or the quality of their work, it can be wrong or out of date, and it is not a guarantee of any business result.

Using the service

• Only submit public websites you own or have permission to have reviewed.
• Don't use Roastly to harass anyone, or to publish anything you know to be false.
• Don't abuse, scrape or overload the service. We rate-limit requests.
• We may decline or remove roasts at our discretion.

The public gallery

Roasts are private by default. Only the person who ran a roast can put it in the public gallery, by switching it on, and they can switch it off at any time.

A featured roast shows the screenshot, the three findings, the site's domain name and a few measured facts about the page load. It never shows your name, your email or any paid report. Featured roasts are public web pages that search engines can index.

If you feature a roast, you confirm that the site is yours or that its owner has said you can, and that you are responsible for that choice.

Roastly is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the sites in the gallery. Their names, logos and page content belong to their owners and appear only to identify the page that was reviewed and to comment on it.

If your site is featured and you want it removed, email hello@getroastly.app with the address of the gallery page. We'll take it down promptly. You don't need to give a reason, and we won't allow that site to be featured again. We may also remove or decline any gallery entry at any time.

Free Roast and Full Roast

The Free Roast costs nothing. The Full Roast is a one-time payment of $9 (no subscription), delivered as a PDF by email. See the refund policy. Not useful? Full refund, no questions.

Roast + Fix

Roast + Fix engagements are quoted individually after human review. No payment is taken until you accept a written quote. If you already bought a Full Roast report for the same site, the $9 you paid is deducted from the quote. We only quote work on platforms we can support, and we may decline a request.

Your content and ours

You keep all rights to your own website and content. We keep the rights to the roast text we generate, and you get a license to use and share it. If you feature a roast in the public gallery, you allow us to display it as described in the public gallery section above.

Accuracy and liability

Roasts are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are opinions, not professional, legal or financial advice. The service is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
